Most managers and leaders are promoted because they are good at their work, then suddenly find themselves dealing with conflict, performance issues and change with very little support.
Leadership and conflict coaching gives you a confidential space to slow down, think clearly about these situations and plan your next steps.
Unlike generic leadership training, coaching focuses on the real people and problems already on your desk. We look at what is happening in your team or organisation, what matters most, and what you can realistically do next in your role.
Who is this coaching for?
Leadership and conflict coaching is designed for people who are responsible for others and want to handle difficult situations with more confidence and impact. That often includes:
Technical experts who now lead projects, teams or boards.
New managers stepping into people leadership for the first time.
Experienced leaders facing complex staff or stakeholder issues.
HR and People professionals supporting others through complaints, restructures or performance processes.
Whether you work in government, a not‑for‑profit or a private business, the focus is practical help, not theory.
What do we work on?
Every coaching series is tailored, but common themes include:
Understanding what is really driving a conflict or complaint.
Preparing for difficult conversations about behaviour, performance or change.
Responding to challenging personalities without avoiding the issue.
Leading through restructures, uncertainty and psychosocial risk.
Building confidence in how you communicate and make decisions.
You bring real examples from your workplace. Coaching helps you clarify your options, choose language that fits you, and follow through.
How does the process work?
We usually start with a short discovery call to understand your role, current challenges and what you would like to change. If coaching is a good fit, we agree a plan and typically book three to six one‑to‑one sessions, funded by your organisation, either in person in Canberra or online Australia‑wide.
Sessions are spaced fortnightly or monthly so you can test ideas in real conversations between meetings. Over time, leaders often report that they feel steadier in difficult situations and that fewer issues escalate to formal processes or formal complaints.
